Deity by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Deity by Jennifer L. Armentrout was yet another book in the Covenant series that did everything but let it's readers down. This book had excitement, sadness, happiness, and anticipation down pat. Alex is still blaming herself for the death of Caleb, as well as harboring guilt over Aiden saving her butt.
Not to mention that after finding out she was the Apollyon, kids at the Covenant aren't exactly offering to be her lab partner, aside from Deacon.
Alex discover life-changing secrets, as well as betrayals.

Pure By Jennifer Armentrout

This book comes after Half-Blood and it transitions through perfectly! I love this book. Alex has to deal with pain in the ass Seth still, but there's glimpses of him where he isn't half bad. Anndd, then he's back to his pervert self. Aiden is still as perfect as ever, and the spark between Alex and Aiden is still there, but it's something that can never be, (although she is more than willing to risk it) and that hurts Alex the most. Her heart and soul ache for Aiden. Alex must go speak in from of the council to talk about what happened in Gatlinburg, which is harder than she would like to admit, especially when the head of the council, Minister Telly, has ulterior motives for bringing her there. She is not safe there, in fact, her life is in danger there more than once.

Half-Blood by Jennifer Armentrout.

Half Blood by Jennifer Armentrout is a breath-taking book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. In this book, Half - Blood Alex is forced back to Covenant, the very place her mother and herself have been running from for three years. But her mother is gone now, murdered by daimons, and she has to go back to the Covenant to try and catch up to the rest of her class, to be a Sentinel. Sentinels are highly-trained fighters, who have spent their entire life learning to fight Daimons, previous Pure-bloods who have turned to the dark side--excuse my star wars reference-- by feasting on aether passed down to pure-bloods and half-bloods from the Greek Gods themselves. But with three years lost, will she be able to catch up, or will she become her biggest fear, a drugged up servant? On top of all this, her trainer is the one boy she hasn't been able to get out of her head since the day she saw him, years ago. Read this book to find out what secrets are in store for Alex!

Opal

Opal, the most recent book in the Lux series is a romantic, humorous, heartbreaking book that will surely have you bawling by the end! Daemon and Katy are finally together, and Daemon just got Dawson back. However, Dawson is no where near the same. And he's determined to get his love, Bethany, back from the DOD, with or without their help. Katy and Daemon are finally together, but for how long? And will the DOD rip them apart?
And Blake is back, and Daemon and Katy have to help, unless they want to get turned into the DOD and never seen again.
Dee is still heartbroken over Adam, and she refuses to talk to Katy. It feels like Katy's life is falling apart at the seams, and the only thing that's right is Daemon.
Definitely the best book by far. Whenever I read one of her books, I am amazed at how much better it is than the last.

Onyx

This is the second book in the Lux series, and unbelievably, it's even better than the first. Katy knows the truth about Daemon and Dee now, and things are more complicated that ever. When Daemon healed Kat, he.. changed her. She's doing things she's never has before. And that includes kissing. A lot. Daemon is determined to show her that the way he feels about her, has nothing to do with the connection he created, and day by day, Katy's resolve is wearing down.

I definitely recommend you read this book. It's one of Jennifer's best, by far!(:

Obsidian.

This book, by Jennifer L. Armentrout, is breath-taking. Daemon and Katy have so much passion and lust between them, even though Daemon is a total ass. But there's more to Daemon. He isn't the typical teenage jerk-wad.
First off, there's glimpses of a sweet, kind, Daemon. Shocking, I know.
Secondly, there's something.. off about him. Him and his sister, as a matter of fact. Katy is determined to find out what's really going on, even though she knows once she does, her life will never be the same.
I give this book 5 stars out of 5. It's definitely on my top-ten list of drool-worth books.

Jennifer L. Armentrout.

We all read those totally drool-worthy books, you know, the ones that are so rare you'd give your firstborn child to read?
Yeah, I found the jackpot.
I found an author who makes all her books like this.
I know, shocking, but its true.
Jennifer L. Armentrout.
Her books are made of awesome.
The Covenant series, makes me feel like I've died and gone to nerd heaven. It's amazing.
The Lux series, makes me want to kiss a million frogs just to find my Daemon. These books are the best I've read. EVER. And I read a lot.

Hey, you.

Hey, so my name is Charlene, and I'm just yet another obsessed book worm. Unlike others however, I have taste, so check out my blog. I'll be posting about books I'm reading and how great they are or about how they should be used in your hamster's cage. Check 'em out.
